Halloween is fast approaching! We will be celebrating with a parade and classroom parties on Thursday, October 31. In an effort to help families plan for the Halloween fun, please read the information outlined below.
Costumes worn at school cannot have weapons, look-alike weapons (squirt guns, chains, plastic swords, etc.), fake blood, gore, scary costumes, or costumes depicting violence. Colored hairspray or other hair products will not be allowed at school.
Please ensure that costumes are appropriate and not offensive to all ages at our school.
Children should bring their costumes to school. Students cannot wear costumes or makeup to school. Please make certain that your child can put their costumes on, over the top of their clothes, by themselves within a relatively short time.
Please do not send food, candy, or drinks with your child for the class party. Any food, candy, or drink sent to school will be sent back home with the student.
Volunteers have offered their time to help run the parties. Only those on the volunteer list will be able to go to the classrooms. All volunteers will check-in when they arrive. Thank you for helping to ensure our students’ safety.
A parade around the school will take place at 1:00 PM. We invite you to come enjoy the parade and cheer on our students as they parade around the school. If there is rain, please come in to the main office and we will send you to the gym for viewing of the parade.
