Fairview School offers many before-school, after-school and during lunch clubs and activities.

Here are the clubs for the 2021-2022 school year.  Scroll down to see the different grade-level clubs that are available.

Kindergarten - 2nd Grade Clubs

Kinder Craft Club

Students in grades K-2 will explore Latin American and Spanish traditions including music and holidays through fun, age-appropriate activities. We will learn songs, read books, and make crafts once a week during our lunch and recess time.

Talent Show

1-2 Grade Coding Club

First and second grade coding club will introduce students to the basics of coding and computer programming. Students will gain insight into how technology works and how to program technology to complete a task. We welcome students who are curious, responsible, problem solvers, and ready to be team players in learning about coding!

1-2 Battle of the Books

Do you enjoy reading? Are you good at remembering the details of a book? Are you just a little bit competitive? Do you work well with others? Join us for Battle of the Books! Students will read 10 books and practice writing and answering questions about the books in preparation for a competition in the Spring!

First Grade Friendship Club

In this club first graders will learn about friendship and being a good friend by playing games, reading stories, and doing kindness activities. Students will bring their lunch to the club and may meet outside when weather permits.

Calling all scientists and engineers! Are you interested in learning about the Scientific Method or Engineering Design Process? In STEM fair you will get the opportunity to create your own project using either the scientific method or engineering design process. Get excited to compete and present your project to judges. Lessons will be held to teach students the steps of completing the tasks with Check-ins along the way and an Award Ceremony to conclude the Stem Fair.

Girls On the Run

Girls on the Run focuses on building social, emotional and physical skills in girls while encouraging healthy habits for life.The season comes to an end with a joyful and fun non-competitive 5K.  Must fill out permission form by Aug 31.

Knitting Club
