On Thursday, Oct. 31st, we will be celebrating Halloween beginning with a parade outside at 1:00pm. The parade will be weather permitting and will be in the gym if it cannot be held outside. Families are invited to come watch the parade as we walk around the school building. The parade will be 1:00 – 1:30. Parties will be 1:30 – 2:30. 2:30 will be time for students to pack up.  If parents would like to join the party they are required to sign up to help run the party! 

Costumes: 
If you need a costume for your child please email the classroom teacher and they will let the office / social worker know to support with having them pick one at the school. 
If you have any costumes to donate please send in with your child or drop off in the office. 

Costume Guidelines: 

In choosing an appropriate costume for your child to wear at school, please adhere to the following guidelines:

•     This year students will be changing in their classrooms. Please make sure that their costume can be put on directly over their clothes for the day. This allows us to get over 500 students dressed quickly and efficiently for the parade and not require each student needing a bathroom to change. Thank you for your understanding! 

   No fake blood, gore, scary costumes or costumes depicting violence

•        No weapons or “look-alikes” of any kind (squirt guns, chains, whips, plastic swords, etc.)
•        Ensure that costumes are appropriate and inoffensive to all ages at our school
•        No one may wear costumes to school in the morning
•        Be certain that your child can see through any mask or head covering
