The following is a quick reminder regarding having your child sit inside for recess. One or more of the following needs to be in place for a student to stay inside for recess:
- a written parent note of request (handwritten or email). This is only good for 3 days. Any longer and a doctor’s note is required.
- a doctor’s note stating the duration and reason for the need to sit inside.
- a student can sit inside at the school nurse’s discretion
- any student with a cast/sling/brace in place needs to sit inside unless it has been previously approved by the school nurse that they may go outside.
If your child is to sit inside, they will sit in the office with something fun to do (not school work).
